RESTORATION COMMENCES AFTER NATIONAL GRID COLLAPSES AGAIN
The restoration of power to all regions in the country has commenced after the national grid collapsed again which caused a nationwide power outage.
In a message sent to costumers, the Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company after confirming ongoing work on restoring power, apologised for the setback.
Sources from the transmission Company of Nigeria,TCN, while providing update on the issue, confirmed that power has been restored in some regions including Lagos State. Restoration of power to the remaining regions continues, according to the source.
The national grid collapsed eight times in 2022 and has collapsed more that three times already this year. This has become a source of growing worry for electricity consumers.
