On Tuesday, Arc. Gbolahan Owodunni Oki (FNIA), General Manager of the Lagos State Building Control Agency (LASBCA), issued a charge to the staff to enhance their service delivery in order to ensure the smooth accomplishment of predetermined goals and objectives.

At the LASBCA Headquarters in Ikeja, GRA, Oki delivered the charge during the Agency’s first workday celebration/prayer session of the new year. In addition, he took the opportunity to praise the workers for a job well done in 2023 and to challenge them to work even harder in the coming year because the reward for hard work is more work.

“LASBCA as an Agency is a service provider and a supervisory Agency. As such officials in the Agency must up their game in the discharge of their statutory duties for seamless actualisation of set goals and objectives”, he stated.

In order to improve the working atmosphere and ensure that everyone does their jobs seamlessly, he also emphasized how crucial it is to foster true love among the authorities. After all, nothing significant can be accomplished in the workplace without the support and affection of everyone there.

The Agency will arrange for regular health check-ups for employees to determine their current state of health, and those who require medical attention will receive it. The General Manager also asked the staff to pay greater attention to their health and well-being.

“During the year, there will be medical check-ups for all staff of the Agency to ascertain their medical conditions as the health of every worker is paramount. This is also to checkmate any unforeseen contingencies in the future”, he added.

In addition to thanking the officials for a job well done, LASBCA Secretary, Mrs. Omolara Daba challenged them to be more focused and dedicated in the performance of their statutory duties.
