
28 SUSPECTS ARRESTED AS POLICE RAID CRIMINALS’ HIDEOUTS IN LAGOS
Not less than 28 criminal suspects were arrested by the operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) in their hideouts in Ketu, Mile 12 Underbridge, Old Toll Gate and Motorways in Lagos state.
This was revealed in a statement posted on the RRS official X handle, stating that the suspects were arrested at about 11:25 pm on Thursday, February 15th, 2024.
The statement read, “In continuation of the drive to reduce crime in Lagos metropolis through sustained monitoring of black spots, RRS operatives at about 11:25pm on Thursday, arrested 28 suspects.
“Some of the notorious areas where the suspects were arrested include Ketu, Mile 12 Underbridge, Old Toll Gate and Motorways.
“The 28 suspects were those screened from 46 others earlier arrested during an overnight operation. 18 of the suspects were released after thorough screening.
“The 28 suspects are to be charged to court in line with the directive of the Commissioner of Police, CP Adegoke Fayoade”, it added.
