SERVICE CHARTER: LAGOS PS CHARGES STAFF ON IMPROVED PRODUCTIVITY, GROWTH MINDSET
In line with the State Government’s objective to improve efficient service delivery, employees of the Ministry of Waterfront Infrastructure Development have been asked to adopt a more purposeful attitude and mindset in order to better provide services
The Permanent Secretary, Mr. Kehinde Gbajumo, gave the charge during his address at the sensitization programme organized by the Office of Transformation, Creativity and Innovation (OCTI) on ‘Service Charter’ for the staff of the Ministry.
According to him, officers must be at their desks at the right time and undertake their assignments with a positive attitude toward meaningful achievements.
The ministry has now been included in the next phase of MDAs, so he asked them to put the necessary work ethics in place for improved productivity, promising the management’s support for the successful execution of the service charter.
Prior to this, Mr. Olalekan Rufai, the team leader from the Office of Transformation, Creativity and Innovation, stated that the goal of their visit to the Ministry was to foster awareness of how to use the Service Charter to improve the effective and efficient provision of services to the public.
