JUST IN: IKOSI-ISHERI LCDA LEGISLATURE ENDORSES MAYORESS BADA FOR 2ND TERM

The fifth Legislative assembly of theĀ Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area has endorsed Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada for another term in office as Chairman of the Council, in recognition of her unparalleled achievements in all aspects of the socio-economic development of Ikosi-Isheri and its environs.
The endorsement capped the unique initiative of parliamentary parley between the executive and the legislative to chart a developmental blueprint for the social and infrastructural development of the council area.
The process was initiated by the Council Leader; Hon Yinusa Salami and the motion for endorsement moved by the Majority Leader; Hon. Gbadegoke Adekoya and seconded by Hon. Akinpelu Folashade representing Ward A (Isheri /Olowora).

While moving the motion, the Majority Leader, Hon. Gbadegoke Adekoya, representing Orike-Ketu (Ward B); “I hereby move the motion that Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, be returned for second term in office inline with her good deeds and wonderful performance in infrastructural development, human capital, humanitarian gesture to the community. I hereby move that she should be returned for another four years in office”.

The administration of Princess Bada has witnessed a remarkable development of infrastructural ammenities and socio-economic life of the Ikosi-Isheri LCDA.
The occasion was witnessed by all the seven councillors within the LCDA.
