CAF CONFEDERATION CUP: RIVERS UNITED, USMA CLASH GETS NEW KICK-OFF TIME
The Confederation of African Football has announced a new kick-off time for the CAF Confederation Cup quarter-final first-leg tie between Rivers United and USMA of Algeria.
The encounter which was earlier scheduled to kick-off at 4pm local time will now start at 2pm.
The game will be held at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Sunday.
The reverse fixture will take place a week later in Algiers.
USMA are the current holders of the CAF Confederation Cup.
Rivers United were knocked out at the same stage of the competition by Young Africans of Tanzania last year.
Stanley Eguma’s side is looking to become the first Nigerian club to win Africa’s second-tier club competition.
