VANDALISM OF GOVERNMENT PROPERTIES: LAGOS CP VISITS ELECTRICITY BOARD
Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Fayoade Adegoke recently paid a courtesy visit to the Lagos State Electricity Board (LSEB) at Ikeja GRA as part of efforts to curb vandalism of government properties.
The Director of Administration and Human Resources, LSEB, Mr. Lateef Demilola Shitta, who alongside other Heads of Departments and Units of the Agency, welcomed CP Fayoade and thanked him for the visit.
While emphasising the need for the Board to enhance its relationship with the Police Command, Mr. Shitta noted that the visit comes at a period when the Lagos State Government is intensifying efforts to curb the menace of vandalism and theft of Government Infrastructure across the State.
The Commissioner, who was accompanied by D.C.P Fatai Tijani (D.C OPS Lagos) and ASP Osonuga Jide (C.P SEC); expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome, and assured the Board of the Police’s commitment to the fight against theft and vandalism of Government Infrastructure.
He emphasised that the visit would further strengthen the relationship between the security agency and the State Government, especially the State Electricity Board.
