OGUNBOTE UNRUFFLED DESPITE CHANGE OF VENUE FOR SHOOTING STARS VS HEARTLAND
Shooting Stars technical adviser Gbenga Ogunbote has urged his players not to be distracted by the change of venue for their matchday 31 clash with Heartland.
The Oluyole Warriors were initially billed to face Heartland in Aba but the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, has now granted the Naze Millionaires approval to return to their home ground in Owerri
Ogunbote urged his players to remain focused on the task ahead.
“I want to apologise to you on the change of venue,” he told the players as quoted by the club’s media.
“We got to know about the development very late, but be that as it may I want to urge you all to remain focused and get the desired result we need.”
Shooting Stars defeated Lobi Stars 2-0 in their last fixture.
The Ibadan club currently occupy fourth position in the NPFL table.
