MOHAMMED LAUDS NIGER TORNADOES’ PLAYERS AFTER BRAVE DISPLAY AGAINST DOMA UTD
Niger Tornadoes interim head coach Majin Mohammed has praised his players for their determination in the win over Doma United.
Goals from Mohammed Hussaini and Bashir Usman gave the Ikon Allah Boys a convincing 2-0 win at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium Kaduna.
Mohammed said his players fought hard for the victory.
He stressed the importance of the win ahead of their next two fixtures in the league.
“We put up a very good fight to earn the victory,” he told the club’s media.
“Knowing fully well that after the game we are embarking on a double away trips and it’s not going to be easy playing against Remo Stars and Plateau United.
“We needed this win and that’s exactly what the boys did.”
Niger Tornadoes occupy 10th position in the table with 42 points.
The Minna side will face Remo Stars next in Ikenne before travelling to Jos for a matchday 33 fixture.
