SUSPECTED KIDNAPPER TERRORISING KOGI COMMUNITIES ARRESTED
Abubakar Ali Damina, a notorious kidnapper who terrorized residents of Igalamela-Odolu Local Government Area, is believed to have been apprehended.
Damina, 43, was taken into custody in Kogi State following a coordinated security operation at Ofodo village, which is close to Igabada.
The suspect, who it was gathered hails from Bida in Niger State, was found in possession of a single-barreled Dane gun and various suspicious items such as charms, a gun firing cap, and local bullets.
During interrogation, the suspect allegedly confessed his involvement in criminal activities in Kogi State.
The Igalamela-Odolu Local Government Departmental Security Officer, Mohammed Aminu, spoke to DAILY POST on behalf of the council boss, Barr. Cosmos Atabor, and confirmed the arrest of the kidnapping kingpin on Wednesday.
The suspect has been detained at the Kogi State Vigilante Service facility in Igalamela-Odolu and will soon be handed over to the appropriate authority.
