Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has met with the Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, to discuss the progress of ongoing road projects in the state.

Sani paid a visit to the minister at the ministry’s headquarters in Abuja on Tuesday.

The governor stated in a statement issued on Tuesday that the completion of the Abuja-Kaduna-Kano Road, the Kaduna Eastern Bypass, the building of the Kafanchan-Kwoi Road, and the Mando-Birnin Gwari Road were the main agenda items for the meeting.

“I was pleased to hear of the progress of other important road projects such as the Sokoto-Zamfara-Katsina-Kaduna Road and the Sokoto-Badagry Road project.

“These road projects, when completed, will ease transportation for our citizens, stimulate economic development, facilitate communication, strengthen social and commercial ties, and bridge the gap between rural and urban communities,” the governor said.

Sani commended the minister for his work in bringing President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda—which aims to close the nation’s infrastructure gaps and promote national development—to reality.

The governor was also pleased with the advancements made thus far, especially with the Abuja-Kaduna-Kano Road project, which should be finished the following year.
