FIRE RAZES KANO POLYTECHNIC’S DEPARTMENT BUILDING
The Kano State Polytechnic School of Technology, which is situated on Matan Fada Road in Kano City, has completely collapsed due to fire.
On Tuesday, the Department of Art and Industrial Design building was completely destroyed by fire.
The fire was discovered about five in the morning, according to eyewitness Abba Ahmed, since the intensity prevented them from putting it out.
Documents, furniture, and art pieces on display were all reduced to rubble.
Investigations to determine the cause of the fire have begun, and the Kano Fire Service has confirmed the occurrence.
There were no fatalities.
