NWORA JOINS TURKISH CLUB ON ONE-YEAR CONTRACT
Jordan Nwora, the son of former Nigeria senior men basketball team, D’Tigers’ coach, Alex Nwora has signed a one-year deal with Turkish club, Anadolu Efes Istanbul.
According to Anadolu Efes, in a statement on Monday, the deal will run through the 2024-25 season with an option to extend it for a further year.
The American-born Nigerian was selected with the No. 45 pick in the 2022 NBA Draft by the Milwaukee Bucks. He also played for the Indiana Pacers and Toronto Raptors.
Last season, Nwora averaged 7.0 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game in 52 appearances for the Pacers and Raptors.
Nwora was included in the Pascal Siakam trade. The Pacers traded Nwora, along with Bruce Brown, Kira Lewis Jr., and three first-round draft picks to the Raptors in exchange for Siakam.

In 34 games for the Raptors, Nwora averaged 7.9 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.3 assists.
Overall, he has career averages of 7.6 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.0 assist per game in 206 NBA appearances.
