The Lagos State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education in the State has announced the release of  year 2024 placement test by continuous assessment.

This was mentioned in a statement released by Adebayo Orunsolu, Director, Lagos State Examinations Board on Thursday.

It reads in parts, “This is to inform Stakeholders in the education sector and the general public that the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education has released the result of the Year 2024 Placement Test by Continuous Assessment Scores (CAS) of Primary Six Pupils in the State.”

The Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education in the State, through the Lagos State Examinations Board, therefore, wishes to inform authorities of all Public and Approved Private Primary Schools in the State that the results of Primary Six Pupils transiting to Government Public Junior Secondary Schools for the Year 2024/2025 Academic Session are now available on the Lagos State Examinations Board’s Portal: https://examsboard.lagosstate.gov.ng.

Concerned authorities are requested to login with their Schools’ default/existing Username and Password provided during the registration of their Pupils to enable them print out the results with effect from Monday, 2nd September, 2024.

The Lagos State Examinations Board wishes to state that all concerned schools – Public and Approved Private Primary Schools in the State – are to print their results online to eliminate the stress of having to visit the Board for the collection of the results.

This arrangement is also aimed at reducing the delays previously associated with the process.

Sequel to the release of the results, all approved private primary schools that duly participated in the examination are to submit their results to the Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (LASUBEB) so that the names of their Candidates who passed the test can be included in the FIRST LISTS OF PUPILS to be placed for admission in Government Public Junior Secondary Schools in the State.

We promise to sustain the Education Policy that says ” No child should be left behind. All successful Pupils in both Public and Approved Private Primary Schools will be given equal treatment.

The Examinations Board therefore wishes our successful Candidates a fruitful academic session as they proceed to secondary education level.
