400 NIGERIANS DEPORTED BY UAE

Four hundred Nigerians have been deported from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), 90 females and 310 males.

The National Security Adviser’s office, the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants, and Internally Displaced Persons, the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP), the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), and other stakeholders received the deportees as they arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.

Earlier, NEMA and other agencies received 103 Nigerians who had been deported from Turkey.

 

Furthermore, On November 13, 2023, 264 Nigerian travelers had their visas revoked upon arriving at the Hajj Terminal of King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The Nigerian Federal Government has reassured the public and urged for calm in reaction to these deportations.
