
PMO HOLDS CONSULTATIVE MEETINGS ON OPERATIONAL REVIEW OF PARASTATALS
The Parastatals Monitoring Office (PMO) has held a consultative meeting with Kehinde Adebanwo & Co, a reputable outside consulting firm at the Secretariat, Alausa, was to start a conversation about the operational operations of a few highly technological government-owned businesses and parastatals in Lagos State.
The meeting was presided over by Mrs. Adetutu Ososanya (FCA), Permanent Secretary, Parastatals Monitoring Office, who also mentioned that the evaluation’s objectives include revenue generation, efficiency, and alignment with the state’s legislative goals.
Ososanya emphasized the significance of the engagement and said that the Office is dedicated to enhancing the performance of the State’s parastatals. She also emphasized that the consultative meeting is the first step in an extensive review process that would optimize efficiency and accomplish predetermined goals.
According to her, the review will assess Key Performance Indicators, funding structures, past contributions, and offer recommendations for better alignment with the State’s goals. “The outcome of this process is expected to drive improvements in public service delivery and ensure more effective management of resources”, Ososanya noted.
