TINUBU RETURNS TO ABUJA AFTER TWO-WEEK LEAVE
President Bola Tinubu has returned to the country after about 18 days away on leave.
The president, who spent time in the United Kingdom and France during the vacation, touched down at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja in his Air Force One at about 7:15pm on Saturday.
Tinubu departed Abuja on October 2 in what was originally billed to be a two-week leave.
According to a statement issued by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President (Information & Strategy) at the time, he said that President Tinubu would use the two weeks as a working vacation and a retreat to reflect on his administration’s economic reforms.
The statement also informed that he would return to the country after the leave expired.
