Singer Rihanna has stated that despite becoming renowned due to her music, it was not God’s purpose for her.
On Thursday, the millionaire entrepreneur gave a speech at the Fenty Beauty brand launch in Barbados, where she was born.
“Music was the thing that got the attention, but God had other plans for me, and I was able to create in ways that were very sincere, genuine, organic and authentic to the things that I love,” she said.
A few years ago, Rihanna’s net worth surpassed $1 billion, earning her a Forbes certification as a billionaire.
The majority of her net worth came from the profits made by her beauty company, Fenty Beauty.
The money she earned from tours and album sales also went toward her net worth.
