CONTENT CREATORS MORE SUPPORTIVE THAN MUSICIANS – GILMORE
Nigerian content creator support each other more than musicians, according to well-known content creator Gilmore.
According to him, the major success that Nigerian content makers are enjoying is largely due to this mutual support.
Noting that consumers now watch more information on their phones than on television, the skit creator also underlined the importance of social media to their success.
Speaking in a recent interview with Hip TV, Gilmore said, “Content creators enjoy massive success because it [the content-creating industry] is more supportive than the music industry.
“This is 2024; everybody is on their phone. People no longer watch TV. You can make money off social media.”
He revealed that Niniola was his childhood crush and that Ayra Starr, an afrobeats musician, is his ideal woman.
