GOVERNORS SANWO-OLU, ABIODUN, OTHERS RALLY SUPPORT FOR AIYEDATIWA IN AKURE
Ekiti State Governor Mr. Abiodun Oyebanji, Lagos State Governor and Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Campaign Council for Ondo State Governorship Election, Prince Dapo Abiodun, and Lagos State Governor Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu stormed Akure on Wednesday to rally support for the APC and its candidate, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
The South-West Governors Forum Chairman, Governor Sanwo-Olu, and Governor Abiodun landed at the Akure Airport at 11:44 a.m., and were greeted by a sizable contingent of APC members and supporters.
Later, Governor Sanwo-Olu joined other governors and party leaders in welcoming Kashim Shettima, the vice president of Nigeria, as he arrived at the Akure airport at noon.
Leading the massive demonstration to urge support for APC candidate Lucky Aiyedatiwa is the vice president.
Dr. Abdullai Ganduje, the party’s national chairman, other APC governors, members of the national assembly, and party leaders are also anticipated to attend the APC mega event at MKO Abiola Democracy Park in Akure in order to mobilize support for Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa’s candidacy.
