DAVIDO MARKS BIRTHDAY WITH N300M DONATION TO ORPHANAGES
Afrobeats artist David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, has said that he will donate N300 million to orphanages in honor of his 32nd birthday.
On Monday morning, the singer revealed this on his X Twitter.
He clarified that the money would go to a foundation that combats teenage drug misuse and orphanages.
He promised to share more details in subsequent posts.
The OBO crooner wrote, āOnce again, for my birthday this year, we are donating to orphanages and a charity that helps young people stay away from drug abuse & addiction. This year is N300m. Details to follow soon.ā
Davido has previously made charitable contributions in honor of his birthday.
In November 2021, Davido celebrated his 29th birthday by giving N250 million to 292 orphanages.
