
LAGOS GOVT RALLIES STAKEHOLDERS’ FORUM TO ENHANCE GRADUATE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME

The Lagos State Government, through its Ministry of Wealth Creation and Employment, organized the Lagos State Forum on Graduate Internship Placement Programme (GIPP) to bring together key stakeholders, including recruitment agencies, off-takers, and sponsors, to address key issues and chart a way forward for the initiative.
The forum, held on Tuesday, 18th February 2025, at NECA House Event Centre, Ikeja.
The programme aimed to bridge the gap between fresh graduates and potential employers by fostering collaboration between the government and private sector players. By engaging industry stakeholders, the initiative seeks to create meaningful work experiences that enhance graduates’ skills, improve job readiness, and contribute to economic growth in Lagos State.
