
JUST IN: SOLDIERS STORM IKEJA ELECTRICITY HEAD OFFICE, ATTACK EMPLOYEES
The Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company’s headquarters has been overrun by military personnel.
Our correspondent was informed that at approximately 7:40 a.m. on Thursday, armed individuals dressed in military uniforms broke into the business across from MITV in Ikeja, Lagos.
Armed military men stormed Ikeja Electric’s offices, causing operations to be crippled, ordering employees to kneel, and attacking employees.
A similar altercation was reported at the company’s headquarters in Ikeja, Lagos, after the incident at the Okota branch.
The reason? unpaid electricity bills. Tensions are now erupting.
The police arrived, but the woman-led armed refused to budge.
