As President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu turned 73 on March 29, 2025, the occasion was marked with a special prayer session at the Alausa Central Mosque, Ikeja, Lagos. The event was part of a broader palliative distribution initiative organized by Conference 57, the association of chairmen from all 20 Local Government Areas and 37 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) in Lagos.
The prayer session and thanksgiving at Alausa Central Mosque drew notable dignitaries, including Lagos State Deputy Governor Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat and the Mayoress of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA, Princess Samiat Bada. Friends, family, political associates, and well-wishers gathered to pray for President Tinubu’s health, wisdom, and continued strength in leadership.
Beyond the prayers, the event served as a reflection on Tinubu’s leadership and impact on Nigeria’s development. Attendees expressed gratitude for his contributions to governance and public service, emphasizing the importance of sustaining his vision for the nation.
As part of the celebration, Conference 57 extended palliative distribution efforts beyond the mosque, reaching various locations, including churches, orphanages, and other centers across Lagos. The initiative aimed to spread goodwill and provide relief to the less privileged, reinforcing Tinubu’s legacy of community support and social welfare.
For many Lagosians, Tinubu’s birthday is more than just a personal milestone—it is a celebration of his enduring legacy and commitment to national progress. As prayers filled the air, so did heartfelt wishes from across the country, honoring a leader whose influence continues to shape Nigeria’s future.
The event underscored the unity and dedication of Conference 57 in supporting the welfare of Lagosians while paying tribute to a statesman whose impact remains deeply felt nationwide.
