President Bola Tinubu on Sunday joined Muslim faithful at the National Eid Prayer Ground along Airport Road, Abuja, to observe the Eid-el-Fitr prayers, marking the conclusion of Ramadan.

Arriving shortly before 9 a.m., Tinubu was welcomed by top government officials, religious leaders, and other dignitaries.

Among those present were Vice President Kashim Shettima, Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin, and National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu.

Later in the afternoon, Tinubu will, for the first time since assuming office, host guests for an Eid-el-Fitr lunch at the State House.

In previous years, he had observed the celebration at his Ikoyi residence in Lagos.
