BREAKING: POLICE USE TEAR GAS AS TAKE-IT-BACK PROTESTERS IN RIVERS FLEE
The #Take-It-Back protest took a dramatic turn when officers from the Rivers State Command fired tear gas at the protesters in an attempt to disperse them.
Organizers and supporters of the Take It Back Movement, along with Civil Society Organizations and the Niger Delta Congress, had assembled at Isaac Boro Park in Port Harcourt, only to face opposition from the Rivers State Police Command.
The police, however, instructed the protesters to relocate to another location.
Undeterred, the protesters began singing solidarity songs, marched through the park, and continued their march towards the well-known Aba Express Road.
