BANDITS KIDNAP POLICE CONSTABLE, TWO OTHERS IN KATSINA

A Police Constable, Nura Ibrahim (F/No 545490), stationed at the Danmusa Division in Katsina State, has been kidnapped by armed individuals believed to be bandits near Yantumaki Forest.
Intelligence sources informed Zagazola Makama that the incident took place on Tuesday evening along the Danmusa–Yantumaki road, when the attackers intercepted a Navy Blue Golf vehicle with registration number DMS 238, in which the officer was traveling with two other civilians.
Local sources reported that the bandits ambushed the vehicle and forcibly took all three occupants, including the police constable, into the forest.
Security forces have initiated a joint search and rescue mission, and the abandoned vehicle was recovered and taken to the Yantumaki Outpost.
