Read Time:45 Second

Arsenal have knocked Real Madrid out of the UEFA Champions League with a 2-1 win at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday night.

The Gunners came into the second leg with a strong 3-0 lead from the first match.

They had the chance to increase their advantage after being awarded a penalty in the first half, but Bukayo Saka’s weak effort was saved by Thibaut Courtois, keeping the scoreline goalless at the break.

Saka redeemed himself in the second half by chipping the ball over Courtois to put Arsenal further ahead in the tie.

Although Vinicius Junior pulled one back for Madrid after a mix-up between David Raya and William Saliba, Gabriel Martinelli responded with a breakaway goal to seal another impressive win.

Mikel Arteta’s team will now face Paris Saint-Germain in the semi-finals, having previously defeated them 2-0 in the group stage.
