
LAGOS STATE MINISTRY OF TOURISM TO HOST CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATION

The Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture is set to mark this year’s Children’s Day with a fun-filled celebration on Tuesday, May 27th, 2025, at the J. Randle Centre for Yoruba Culture and History, Onikan, Lagos.
This exciting event will feature a dynamic mix of folktales, cultural displays, skill acquisition workshops, dance and drama performances, painting sessions, and many more engaging activities designed to foster creativity, learning, and cultural appreciation among
children.
With the unwavering support of the Lagos State Government under the leadership of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and the coordination of Mr. Idris Aregbe, Special Adviser to the Governor on Tourism, Arts and Culture, the celebration aligns with the state’s vision
to nurture cultural education and holistic development in the younger generation.
