His official decoration with Akoko leaves was performed by the Oluwo of Ibadanland, Chief Abdulwahab Popoola.
He said, “You have been installed as the Jagun Olubadan of Ibadanland today, there are hundreds of Mogajis (family heads) in Ibadanland before your choice.
”Your appointment and installation as Jagun Olubadan of Ibadanland is as a result of your meaningful contributions to Ibadanland.
“I want to charge you to continue to attract more developmental projects to Ibadanland. Do your best to bring more federal projects to Ibadanland.”
