
TINUBU PAYS COURTESY VISIT TO BUHARI’S FAMILY IN KADUNA (PHOTOS)

President Bola Tinubu on Friday paid a condolence visit to the family of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari in Kaduna State.
He was accompanied by Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Abbas Tajudeen, several state governors, ministers, senators, and other senior government officials.
Tinubu was received by the widow of the late president, Aisha Buhari, who welcomed him on behalf of her children.
Earlier upon his arrival in Kaduna, President Tinubu attended the wedding of Nasirudeen Yari, son of former Zamfara State Governor, Senator Abdullaziz Yari, and Safiyya Idris.
The ceremony took place at the Sultan Bello Mosque in Kaduna.
Former President Muhammadu Buhari died on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at The London Clinic, after a prolonged illness.
His remains were flown into the country through Katsina Airport, where President Tinubu received the body.
Buhari was accorded full military honours, including gun salutes and ceremonial processions befitting a former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.
He was later laid to rest in Daura following Islamic burial rites.
