Real Madrid continued their impressive start to the La Liga season with a 4-1 victory over Levante at the Estadi Ciutat de València on Tuesday night.

Vinícius Júnior opened the scoring in the 28th minute, finishing off a swift team move, before 17-year-old Franco Mastantuono doubled the lead with a stunning strike ten minutes later.

Levante fought back after the break, with Etta Eyong pulling one back in the 54th minute to spark hopes of a comeback among the home supporters.

However, Madrid regained control as Kylian Mbappé, subdued for much of the game, struck twice late on to seal the win and ensure Xabi Alonso’s side maintained their momentum at the top of the table.

The victory marked Madrid’s fourth successive away league win their best run on the road since May 2024 and further underlined their title credentials with a blend of youth and world-class talent.

For Levante, the defeat highlighted both their resilience and the gulf in quality against Spain’s giants. They remain in 16th place, with just one win in their last ten home fixtures against Real Madrid (D2, L7), and continue to hover above the relegation zone.
