Acclaimed music producer and head of Mavin Records, Don Jazzy, has candidly discussed the personal sacrifices associated with his ascent to prominence within Nigeria’s entertainment sector.
During an appearance on the Echo Podcast, the 42-year-old shared that although he harbors no regrets regarding his professional trajectory, one facet of his existence that he may have inadvertently compromised is his marital life.
When queried about what he relinquished in his quest for achievement, Don Jazzy conceded he never envisioned entering his 40s without a spouse.

“I never thought I’d be in my 40s and not married. Maybe that’s the one I lost along the way. If it comes, it comes. If it doesn’t, I’m totally fine,” he remarked.
The hitmaker, who has significantly influenced the careers of artists such as Tiwa Savage, Rema, and Ayra Starr, further noted that his vocation would remain centered around music even if he were not a record label founder.
Despite the sacrifices made, Don Jazzy emphasized that he derives immense satisfaction from his accomplishments in the music industry.
