President Bola Tinubu has appointed Dr. Bernard Doro from Plateau State as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

This appointment was communicated through a letter dispatched to the Senate for validation, as per a statement from Presidential Spokesperson, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, on Tuesday.

Born on January 23, 1969, in Kwall, Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau, Doro brings over 20 years of expertise in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, strategic planning, and community leadership in both the UK and Nigeria.

He possesses degrees in Pharmacy and Law, an MBA specializing in IT-oriented business strategy, and a Master’s degree in Advanced Clinical Practice.

Doro is recognized as an Independent Prescriber and Advanced Clinical Practitioner, with direct NHS experience in urgent care, walk-in facilities, general practice clinics, and hospitals.

Additionally, he has spearheaded youth mentorship and social impact projects in both the diaspora and local communities.
