TINUBU SEEKS SENATE CONFIRMATION FOR BERNARD DORO AS MINISTER
President Bola Tinubu has formally requested the Senate to screen and confirm Dr. Bernard Doro of Plateau State as a minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
In a letter forwarded to the national assembly, Tinubu put forth Doro’s name for consideration, initiating the constitutional process for legislative approval. While the letter does not specify the exact ministry to which Doro would be assigned, the submission marks a significant step in constituting the President’s ministerial team.
Sources familiar with the nomination indicate that Doro is aligned with the President’s development agenda and is expected to contribute his expertise in the pending cabinet lineup.
If confirmed, Dr. Doro will join the ranks of other ministerial nominees who are awaiting Senate scrutiny and approval.
