BREAKING: NNAMDI KANU DISMISSES LEGAL TEAM, TO DEFEND HIMSELF IN COURT
Detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has dismissed his entire legal team and announced his decision to personally handle his defence.
Kanu, who appeared before the court on Thursday, informed the judge that he would be representing himself in the ongoing trial.
Following his decision, the lead counsel, Kanu Agabi (SAN), and other Senior Advocates of Nigeria on the defence team formally withdrew from the case.
The IPOB leader, currently addressing the court from the dock, is also challenging the court’s jurisdiction to continue his trial.
