ACTOR YOMI FABIYI REQUESTS SUPPORT FOR MOVIE VETERANS
By Adeniyi Onaara
Actor Yomi Fabiyi has appealed for assistance for seasoned Nollywood actors who have lost their sense of purpose as a result of adversity.
Nollywood practitioners, according to Fabiyi, help themselves, but the challenges are larger than available resources.
He gave the example of Kemi Afolabi, who received assistance from Funke Akindele, Iyabo Ojo, Toyin Abraham, Mercy Aigbe, and others.
He added that he also distributed what he could.
He went on to claim that they all did their best and only called for help when events were too much for them to manage.
“Veterans’ problems are accumulated problems that are beyond what we, the current artists, can handle,” Yomi Fabiyi added.
He solicited assistance from anyone willing to assist immediately.
He also extended gratitude to ‘Agbada Gabriel’, thanking him for extending helping hand beyond church members but instead reaching out with love towards outsiders.
