
GOVERNOR AKEREDOLU SIGNS LCDA BILL INTO LAW

Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu Aketi, the governor of Ondo State, has signed a bill that establishes 33 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) in the region.
During a brief ceremony, the Speaker of the House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Oladiji Landmark Olamide, presented the bill to the Governor for approval.
Additionally present were the Parliamentary Secretary, Hon. Otunba Moyinolorun Ogunwumiju, Majority Leader, Hon. Oluwole Emmanuel Ogunmolasuyi, and Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Prince Abayomi Babatunde Akinruntan.
The measure, which had already been approved by the state House of Assembly, now has the legal support necessary for the establishment of LCDAs in Ondo State as a result of the Governor’s signature.
The creation of these LCDAs is a significant step towards Governor Akeredolu keeping his campaign pledges and meeting the needs of the populace for improved grassroots development.
This programme also demonstrates Governor Akeredolu’s persistent dedication to enhancing public service delivery because it attempts to bring government closer to the populace, which will ultimately lead to more responsive and effective services.
Governor Akeredolu is prepared to step up his efforts to advance the development of the Sunshine State and is still committed to delivering significant projects and ground-breaking initiatives.
