
TINUBU LAUDS FUNKE AKINDELE’S BOX OFFICE RECORD

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has heaped praise on the enormous artistic talent, inventiveness, and creativity of Nigeria’s burgeoning entertainment sector.
The President praised the talented actress, Ms. Funke Akindele for her contributions to the industry’s expansion, while also complimenting her film, which broke records.
According to a statement released on Friday by Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity), the president praised Nigeria’s creative industry, recognizing its vital role as a platform for artistic expression, a significant source of soft power, and a profitable export.
It quoted the president as saying: “The creative industry is one of the high-employment sectors, providing jobs for our able and talented youths.
It is an industry that is crucial to my administration. I salute Nigerians for their enduring support and patronage of home-grown creative efforts.
We will provide a conducive environment for the industry to thrive further”.
