The Presidency, on Sunday, mourned over the sudden demise of Herbert Wigwe, his Wife, and son.

Herbert Wigwe, the Chief Executive Officer of Access Holdings, along with his wife and son, lost their lives in a helicopter crash in California, USA.

Wigwe family was reportedly on a chopper said to be en route to Las Vegas when it crashed near the Nevada-California border.

The Special Adviser on Information and Strategy to President Tinubu, Bayo Onanuga described the casualty “as a terrible blow for Nigeria and Africa’s banking industry.”

Onanuga attested “Wigwe had a big vision to make Access Holding Africa’s Biggest, with all the unquestionable thirst for acquisitions.

“He also made a mark in his community, by building a university, that he once told me would make a difference by focusing on entrepreneurship.

“He has now left all to return to his maker. May his soul rest in perfect peace.

The Presidency also prayed that “May the soul of his wife Chizoba, Son and Lawyer Abimbola Ogunbanjo, who died in the same ghastly copter crash in California desert rest in peace.”
