
SUPER EAGLES WILL BOUNCE BACK FROM MALI LOSS – DOSU
Former Nigerian international, Dosu Joseph has revealed that the Super Eagles will recover from their loss against Mali ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers slated for June.
Recall that Nigeria lost 2-0 to Mali on Tuesday in the second friendly game, few days after defeating Ghana 2-0.
The Atlanta Olympic gold medalist stated in a conversation with newsmen that the team played well despite losing to Mali.
He however, said that the Super Eagles will recover from the defeat before the start of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers in June.
“Losing to Mali should not be a major cause for alarm for Nigerians because it’s just a friendly game meant to access other players before the World Cup qualifiers commences in June.
“The players gave their very best but sometimes results might no come your way. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose,this is football.
“A this point, the coach knows where to improve upon in his team before the World Cup qualifiers.”
