Alimosho General Hospital on Monday received the Health Facility Monitoring and Accreditation Agency (HEFAMAA) during the latter assessment of the hospital.

The team, comprising three groups, toured the hospital to assess the Maternal and Child Centres (MCC 1&2) where the Labour wards, Postnatal wards, Paediatric wards and Women’s wards are situated. The team also went to the Domestic Waste area, Medicine, Laboratory, Radiology and Pharmacy departments among others.

Speaking during a brief meeting with the Medical Director/CEO of the Hospital, Dr. Ayodapo Soyinka, the HEFAMAA team led, Dr. Olayinka Daniel applauded the tremendous and remarkable upgrade observed in the hospital and among personnel, stressing that the Facility has greatly improved compared to what was observed during their previous visits.

Dr. Daniel noted, therefore, that given the remarkable and all-round improvement in every sector, including its workforce, the Agency has approved the Certification of the Hospital. He, however, urged the Management not to rest on its oars because there is always a need for further improvement for an overall enhanced and reputable healthcare services delivery.

The MD/CEO of the Facility, Dr. Ayodapo Soyinka thanked the visiting team for acknowledging the efforts of the staff thereby recommending and approving its Certification. He appreciated the team for their consistency in enforcing quality healthcare delivery over the years.

Soyinka promised that with the Agency’s approval of the Hospital improvement, the entire personnel will continue to work tirelessly to ensure a high standard and enhanced health service delivery at the Alimosho General Hospital.
