MAN DIES WHILE UNDERGOING 19- DAY DRY FASTING – POLICE
The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the death of a 58-year-old man during a spiritual fast.
The command’s spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the incident on Tuesday in Lagos.
Hundeyin stated that the incident occurred on Monday around 6:00 a.m. in the Alagbado area of the state.
The deceased man’s younger brother, whose name was also not disclosed, reported the incident at the Alagbado Police Division at around 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
According to him, his brother passed away while reportedly undergoing 19 days of dry fasting.
Hundeyin said, “No foul play suspected, family demands to convey the corpse for burial.”
