
JUST IN: MANY INJURED AS FULLY LOADED BRT OVERTURNS IN LAGOS
Ten passengers were hurt when a fully loaded, high-capacity Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) bus overturned inside the designated BRT lane at Iyana Ipaja, Lagos.
The collision happened soon after the bus left the BRT park at Iyana Ipaja, according to an update from the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA).

The bus tipped over onto its side after it struck an abandoned pedestrian bridge foot just after the Iyana Ipaja bridge, according to the agency providing an update on X.
All ten of the victims have reportedly received the appropriate medical care, according to the authorities.
Officials from LASTMA arrived on the scene quickly to control the situation and make sure the victims received prompt medical attention.
There is currently work being done to clear the lane and return regular traffic flow because of the collision, which has seriously disrupted local traffic.
While authorities attempt to address the problem, drivers and commuters are advised to drive carefully and obey traffic signals.
