ALLEGED N110BN FRAUD: EX-KOGI GOV, YAHAYA BELLO ARRIVES ABUJA COURT (PHOTOS)
The immediate past Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, has arrived at the Federal Capital Territory High Court in Abuja for the hearing on alleged N110 billion fraud preferred against him.
Bello was declared wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in April 2024.
The former Kogi governor reported at the commission’s headquarters in Abuja on Tuesday and was quizzed.
The commission had initially filed 19 charges against Bello, along with his nephews Ali Bello, Dauda Suliman and Abdulsalam Hudu for money laundering offences amounting to over N80bn.
