Stella Nwadigbo, a 45-year-old Christ-Mitots International School teacher, has been placed under detention by an Ogba Magistrate Court after she allegedly assaulted a three-year-old child in Lagos State’s Ikorodu Local Government Area.

After public outcry, the school administration suspended Nwadigbo, who was remanded by the court to Kirikiri Correctional Facility until the next hearing on February 18, 2025.

On Thursday, the teacher was placed under custody after being charged by the police with assaulting a student named Michael Abayomi for failing to write the digits 16 and 61 while in class.
