NSCDC NABS FIVE OVER SCHOOL PROPERTY VANDALISM IN KANO

Operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Kano have arrested five suspects for alleged vandalism across the state.

In a statement by the command’s Public Relations Officer, Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi, three of the suspects—Abdulbasi Usman (19), Yahaya Isa (20), and Abubakar Sadiq Abdullahi (20)—are from Unguwar Rimi, Kumbotso LGA, while Adamu Murtala (20) is from Unguwa Uku in Tarauni LGA.

The suspects reportedly vandalized Government Secondary School Unguwar Rimi and GSS Unguwa Uku, carting away items such as roofing sheets, iron rods, buckets, 20 three-seater chairs, mats, seven windows, two ceiling fans, and educational materials.

Another suspect, Alasan Inusa (17) from Gidan Tela in PRP Dambatta LGA, was also arrested for allegedly stealing from an electric pole. Recovered items include six insulators and aluminum cables.
