It comes as no surprise to see Funke Akindele celebrating with Iyabo Ojo, as the duo has consistently shown mutual support since reconciling. In 2022, Kemi Filani reported that the two actresses rekindled their friendship at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) Season 8, following a previously public fallout.
When Iyabo released her film Labake Olododo, Funke openly endorsed it. At the movie’s premiere, she praised Iyabo for the film’s aesthetics, visuals, and overall production quality. Funke congratulated her and encouraged her to continue breaking barriers, saying it was her moment to shine.
