Ezekiel, who was a National Diploma II student of the Department of Mass Communication, was preparing to write his final examination.
The Head, Department of  Mass Communication, Mallam Nazif  Pali, told newsmen that the victim was rushed to the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital, where he died few hours after the incident.
He said, “The incident was caused by this abandoned road (Bauchi-Jos) where two vehicles have to share the same lane.
“He (Ezekiel) wanted to link the road but because the road is too narrow, you can see the condition of this place, when the incident occurred.”
An eyewitness, Musa Abubabakar, said, “Many people die on this same road almost every day. We call on the government to please complete this major road.”
Residents of the Wunti-Dada area, the school host community, expressed their dissatisfaction with the state of the road, and called on the state government to complete the project.
A business owner in the area, Mr Abubakar Sani, said, “The government has to really construct this vital road which leads to two states.”
