REMO STARS DARE LOBI IN MAKURDI
Ahead of his team‘s crunch tie with the League defending champions on Wednesday, Remo Stars Michael Bolaji says his side aren’t afraid of their of Lobi Stars and insists they can pull off a great result at the Aper Aku Stadium in Makurdi.
Lobi are fresh from their commendable away draw against Wydad Casablanca last Tuesday in Rabat and will be hoping to return to winning ways in the domestic league against Remo Stars in front of their home crowd.
Michael Bolaji with brila fm said some sections of media might refer to the Sky Blues as an underdog but they are confident of coming away with impressive results.
“It’s going to be a good game, expect the best from us, at the same time, we cant take anything away from Lobi Stars they are good side, playing in the CAF Champions League,But we have no respect for that because we play in the same league that means we can also beat them.”
The petit attacker also added that the team is getting used to the philosophy of new manager Kennedy Boboye.
“He’s a friendly person and he‘s a good coach and I think we are getting used to his philosophy and style of play.“ He concluded.
